transitional dressing

Hello there!  We are back after the long summer and hope to get you inspired this Fall with all the latest fashion trends and tips!  My theme of the moment is "transitional" dressing for the season.  How to look Fall, when it is still so hot out and not be forced into heavy tweeds yet.  

A few tips:

1. This is the perfect time to pack up those summer sandals and start wearing the short boots.

2. Pull out your dark cotton shirts and throw them on with your jeans.

The trick is to LAYER and MIX IT UP with the darker colors and light fabrics.  Finish with a light weight scarf... And Voila!

One of our favorite lines that we carry at the Willows' Apparel Boutique is CP Shades.  Their shirt, the Marisa is our very best seller.  It looks great on absolutely everyone and is so versatile.  We like to tell all our customers it can be worn in three different ways - tucked in with a cute belt, tied in the front, or worn out and casual.  We all love this shirt!  We currently have it in white, peach, light blue and cobalt, which are all lovely for spring!  Come get yours today!
